Learning Japanese can be easy, so my to the question is Japanese hard to learn is no.  I had great instructors and was able to meet and be around people from Japan that spoke Japanese fluently.  This greatly helped my progress with the language and has lead to me being a very good Japanese speaker today.  Help from the native speakers was invaluable as they were able to correct my mistakes and teach me the subtle nuances of the language.

Becoming an accomplished Japanese speaker is note overly difficult, but becoming a master can take years to perfect.   The key is to keep speaking with people who know the language inside and out to get there opinion on how you are speaking.  Use this resource as much as you can and you too can be speaking Japanese in no time.  The language is simple once you get the right people helping you out, without them it can be very difficult.
